Matt Bresnan is a St. Louis–based stand-up comedian, host, and producer known for his relatable storytelling and self-awareness, blending real-life experiences with sharp punchlines. Performing regularly throughout St. Louis and the Midwest, Matt has built a reputation as a corporate comedian who connects strongly with audiences during comedy shows, whether in comedy clubs, showcases, fundraisers, private events, or corporate settings. As the creator of Laughs With Matt, he produces and hosts independent comedy events that feature both rising and established talent, helping to grow live comedy across the region. When he’s not on stage, Matt works professionally in business sales, bringing those everyday life experiences into his stand-up comedy. He believes that comedy should make people laugh, connect individuals together, and remind everyone not to take life too seriously.

My mother passed away at age 39 on my sixth birthday, and over the years, this number has become a quiet reminder of where I came from, the people who shaped me, and the importance of making people laugh through my comedy shows. As a corporate comedian, I strive to bring joy to others, reminding them of the significance of laughter in our lives, much like my journey in stand-up comedy.
